Binance adds 12 Nigerian banks to its Peer-to-Peer platform...
Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency by volume of transactions, just announced that it added 12 Nigerian banks to its Peer-to-Peer (P2P) platform in a bid to reduce the possibility of disruptions during the process of P2P transactions.
Binance added 21 banks across the African continent; however, 12 or 57% of those banks are Nigerian banks which include: Access Bank, Ecobank, Fidelity Bank, First Bank of Nigeria, FCMB, GTBank, Keystone Bank, Stanbic Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Sterling Bank, Zenith Bank, Union Bank of Nigeria.
Due to the heavy concentration of Nigerian banks, it would suggest that a chunk of Binance’s P2P volume comes from the country.

Wizkid declares love for Burna Boy, Davido
Wizkid declares love for Burna Boy, Davido.
Grammy award-winning singer, Wizkid, has once again made headlines as he declared his love for his colleagues, Burna boy and Davido, during the Afronation music festival in Portugal on Saturday.
During his performance, the legendary artiste said, “Anytime I’m with my brother, he’s always telling me good sh*t about unity and afrobeat. I wanna tell you tonight, I got love for Burnaboy, I got love for Davido. I got love for everybody and I want to thank the fans for supporting us.”
The triad is known to be the biggest Nigerian artistes, while their fans around the world are often split up arguing over who is the best among the three artistes.
Meanwhile, several of their fans have opined that the trio are not on good terms, considering the fact that they have not featured each other in any song.
Several kinds of beef have emanated from these artistes, especially from Wizkid and Davido, as the duo is known to have long beef with each other.
In 2017, when Wizkid dropped his third album, Sounds From The Other Side, Davido made a post on his Snapchat where he described Wizkid’s music as “pon pon sounds”.
Wizkid, who caught the message, made a tweet in which he explained that people should not hate on someone doing better than them. He wrote, “U can’t hate on someone doing better than u in what u failed at! Learn and appreciate! Free ur mind from hate young kids”. (sic).
Later on, he made another tweet, saying, “Catch up or stay local”.
Davido, who was later featured by popular rapper, Olamide, in a song titled ‘Summer Body’, replied to Wizkid, saying, “With Yankee passport, they say we local oh. You better catch up, I go see you later”.
Wizkid, who was not ready to accept defeat, took to Twitter to further diss Davido. He wrote, “My people, make una remember say Yankee passport no be baba blue, e no dey cure frog voice.”
Although the beef between the two singers has been settled as they have been spotted hugging each other on stage, the duo’s relationship remained the same.
Meanwhile, the beef between Davido and Burnaboy can be dated back to 2020 when Davido dropped a single titled ‘FEM’, meaning shut up.
Davido and Burnaboy have been quarrelling for reasons best known to them and fans opined that Davido decided to score a point by releasing the song.
The two musicians were also reported to have gotten into a fight at a club in Ghana. However, at the end of the year, Burnaboy announced that he and Davido were on good terms.
